Key Responsibilities
- Estimate and sell jobs by writing accurate estimates, securing approvals, and driving project profitability.
- Oversee project timelines, quality control, and ensure smooth job completion.
- Conduct site inspections, review scopes with clients and adjusters, and handle communication.
- Hire, train, and mentor employees, ensuring a high-performance culture.
- Identify, hire, and coordinate subcontractors for various restoration projects.
- Implement policies, procedures, and strategies to optimize efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA regulations, safety protocols, and industry standards.
- Monitor project profitability, assist in debt collection, and maintain accurate job costing.
- Build and maintain relationships to generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
4+ years of experience in construction / restoration estimating and supervisory roles or 5+ years as an adjuster writing estimates for insurance companies.Strong knowledge of building codes, material pricing, and estimating software such as Xactimate. Familiarity with job management software and experience working with third-party administrators.Proven ability to lead teams, train staff, and implement effective processes.Experience working with insurance adjusters, property managers, and clients.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to handle crisis situations professionally.Valid state driver\'s license required.Benefits & Perks
