Job descriptionSelf-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently in the field. Strong observational skills and attention to detail. Comfortable driving, documenting conditions, and shipping materials. Valid driver's license (clean MVR); company vehicle provided for job duties. Physically able to lift and transport testing equipment (up to 1525 lbs). Basic familiarity with environmental testing or willingness to be trained. Strong written communication skills for field report completion. Ability to follow structured procedures and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Prior experience in environmental testing, restoration, or related fields. Understanding of indoor air quality and mold sampling protocols. Report writing or inspection background. Job Title : Environmental Field Technician
Location : Varies Field Work Required
Position Type : Full-Time / Flexible Schedule
Compensation : $20.00 - $24.00 DOE. All equipment provided. Company vehicle provided for fieldwork.
Summary : Seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Part-Time Environmental Field Technician. In this role, you will conduct mold inspections and asbestos testing in both residential and commercial settings. You'll collect air and bulk samples, document visual findings, and prepare a field report using a provided template.
Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned sites using a company-provided vehicle to perform air quality and mold sampling.
- Conduct thorough visual inspections for mold, moisture intrusion, and environmental conditions.
- Collect air and surface samples, then package and ship samples to the lab following protocol.
- Document site conditions and findings using a structured report template.
- Communicate professionally with clients and the internal team.
- Maintain sampling equipment and ensure proper handling of materials.
- Follow all safety guidelines and quality standards during inspections and sampling.
