• Must have 2 years recent RN Level 1 Nursery, Postpartum, OB / GYN & L&D / LDRP experience\n
• Must have ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE & AWHONN certifications (Must be through the American Heart Association)\n
• Must have WY RN or multi-state RN license\n
• Candidate may be required to float to another unit depending on facility census (This will only be as helping hands or as sitter)\n
• Attends fetal monitoring certification classes every two years\n
• Attends S T A B L E certification class if offered is NRP certified\n\nMORE INFORMATION : \n
• Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment\n
• Appropriately assesses, plans, implements, and evaluate patient care\n
• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family\n
• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation\n
• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual / psychosocial support needs\n
• Evaluates learning needs of patient and / or family and provides patient / family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances\n
• Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient\n
• Circulates during C / Sections, attends deliveries assisting the physician as needed\n
• Follows appropriate policies during the recovery and care of surgical patients\n
• Attends the neonatal station in the C / Section suite and completely assesses the neonate post delivery\n
• Able to identify necessary information to be communicated to physicians and patients\n
• Experience can include taking care of OB / GYN patients (post-op hysterectomy), Antepartum care, Triage care, Labor and Delivery care, and Postpartum\n
