The unit consists of 16 labor and delivery rooms, 5 triage rooms, and 7 antepartum beds, with a patient ratio of 1 : 2. Unit operations are supported by unit clerks and technicians available 24 / 7. Fetal monitors are utilized as part of the patient care equipment, and documentation is managed through specific systems. Candidates should be prepared to float as needed and discuss specific requirements during the interview. Compliance with dress code and grooming standards is expected, including specific scrub colors and guidelines for hair, facial hair, tattoos, and piercings.
