The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries / hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities
General Purpose :
Provide clerical and technical support for department's clinical staff. Greets, directs and assists patients, visitors and other members of the University community. Informs patients and others of departmental and University policies and procedures. Answers telephone, take messages, registers patients, schedules appointments, signs in, checks out and bills patients for their visit or supplies. Takes and records vital signs, documents medical information, completes medical forms and requisitions, sets up stocks and cleans examination rooms, performs various diagnostic and lab procedures, performs phlebotomy. Maintains a working knowledge of procedures at the Medical Center Office and the River Campus Office.
