We are looking for you to join our team as a Quality Manager 2 based in Sunnyvale, CA. The Quality Manager will lead the swing shift Quality Control and Non-Destructive Test (NDT) department. The manager should be knowledgeable in aerospace and / or military NDT requirements and will report directly to the site Product Assurance Manager. In this role, the Quality Manager collaborates with manufacturing and engineering functions to ensure quality standards are in place. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with manufacturing, maintenance or inspection assurance activities. The candidate will be required to have strong collaboration skills and demonstrated capability to partner cross-discipline / cross-function. The Quality Manager will be a key leader, and essential member of the Sunnyvale site leadership team supporting company operations.

Role and Responsibilities :

• Provides overall management of QC and Non-Destructive Testing department (for swing shift) by setting and operating to objectives, and providing guidance to direct reports based on goals, objectives, and company policy.
• Collaborates with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Global Supply Chain to ensure quality is inherent in every requirement, design, work product, and end-product delivered by Northrop Grumman
• Engages on the shop floor and in work activities to provide direct support as needed while additionally coaching and mentoring personnel in quality methods and procedures.
• Assures compliance in program quality, risk management, safety, process improvement, subcontractor and supplier quality, configuration and data management in accordance with contractual requirements.
• Occasional interface with executives and customer representatives, including on-site DCMA representatives, concerning projects, operational decisions, scheduling requirements, and contractual clarifications.
• Maintains compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) policies, procedures, and processes to ensure the performance and quality of products conform to established standards, specifications and customer requirements.
• Provide performance reviews and periodic feedback for all direct reports.
