General Superintendent

Our Commercial-Industrial General Construction company is interviewing for an experienced Senior Superintendent / General Superintendent in Jackson, Mississippi.

As a General Superintendent you will manage and consult over 15 superintendents and all field operations.

Responsibilities

Hire competent field staff that fit the company culture

Lead, mentor, and manage superintendents to ensure profit, quality standards, and site order and cleanliness

Develop solutions driven staff for this company that serves customers, communicates clearly, treats people with respect, and strives to excel in everything they do for their clients.

Recognize and address potential issues before they become problems, and ensure proactive troubleshooting

Establish and accomplish long-term goals for field operations and put resources in place to accomplish these goals

Qualifications

Excellent communicator who is able to work with  engineers, contractors, office staff, superintendents, and field workers in a timely manner

Tested experience in all aspects of commercial construction (schools, office buildings, churches, etc.)

Proven track record of managing numerous commercial projects & Staff

Proven leader and a hard worker with a high level of integrity

Strategic thinker able to manage numerous projects and mentor superintendents

Requirements

General Superintendent or Field Superintendent  (10+ years minimum)

Managing multiple complex commercial construction projects

Project management software

Compensation

Competitive annual salary of $135k–$160k / yr DOE
