Security Assistance Team (SAT) / Tactical Trainer Position

Overview

IDS International is seeking former US Army Special Forces (18 Series) and / or Ranger Qualified personnel for OCONUS employment. Candidates must have previously served in a Special Forces Group, 75th Ranger Regiment or Ranger Training Battalion as a Ranger Instructor. Applicants will have served as a Squad Leader or above (SF and / or Ranger Qualified).

Job Location : OCONUS - Camp Taji, Iraq

Role

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be part of a Security Assistance Team (SAT) located in Camp Taji, Iraq, training foreign Special Operations students. Training will include basic and advanced Soldier skills, Light Infantry, Ranger / SUT, CQB and other SOF skills and mission essential tasks.

Qualifications for this Position

• Applicants must be able to achieve a score of 270 points or higher on the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) for their age group.
• Applicants shall have at least three (3) years\' experience in their subject matter expertise and possess expert knowledge in the small unit tactics they will be teaching.

Preferred skills and experience

Employee may be required to occasionally lift and / or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
