POSITION TITLE : IT Specialist

PAY RATE AND SCHEDULE : $ / hour PT Hourly, Monday-Thursday, 7 hrs / day

REPORTS TO : Executive Pastor

General Overview of Position :

Lake Church is looking for a tech-savvy IT Specialist to join our team! The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of networking, provide IT support to staff members, and maintain the church's technology infrastructure. This role is crucial in ensuring that our staff has the necessary tools and IT support to effectively carry out their ministries.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Technical Support : Provide prompt and effective IT support to staff members, addressing hardware and software issues as they arise.
• Networking : Manage and troubleshoot the church's network, ensuring reliable connectivity and security for all users.
• Microsoft Products : Maintain a strong working knowledge of Microsoft products (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Enterprise, Office ) to assist staff with software-related queries and training.
• Printer Services : Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of printers and other office equipment. Experience in servicing printers is a plus, but not required.
• System Maintenance : Perform regular updates and maintenance on church computers, servers, and other technology resources to ensure optimal performance.
• Inventory Management : Keep an inventory of all technology equipment and software licenses, ensuring compliance and proper usage.
• Documentation : Create and maintain documentation for IT processes, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals for staff reference.
• Training : Provide training and support to staff on new technologies, software applications, and best practices for using IT resources.
• Website Development and Maintenace : Experience in creating and / or maintaining is a huge plus, but not required.
