Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness of interior and exterior facility spaces, including entrances, hallways, and public restrooms.

Support the overall cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the facility to ensure a positive physical and psychosocial environment for residents.

Complete minor repairs and general maintenance tasks in accordance with facility policy and manufacturer guidelines.

Assist with facility upkeep projects, including light construction, painting, and furniture / equipment assembly as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.

Respond promptly to work orders and service requests to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a long-term care facility / larger institution (preferred)

Excellent communication skills; written and verbal

Relates positively and favorably to residents and families

Positive Can-Do Attitude

Excellent Attendance
