Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist

Location : Charleston, WV

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 4x10-Hour Days (Tuesday–Friday, 07 : 00 – 18 : 00)

Job Responsibilities and Requirements :

Perform interventional radiology procedures including, but not limited to :

Angiography, embolizations, stent placements, biopsies, drainage procedures

Venous access management including PICC lines and ports

Vascular procedures such as TIPS, IVC filter placements, and angioplasties

Use of imaging systems including CT, ultrasound, and Siemens equipment

Maintain sterile technique, set up and operate procedure room, and assist in scrub / circulating roles

Daily caseload of 10–15 cases per technologist

No weekend shifts, no call, no floating required

Required Certifications :

ARRT (R)

West Virginia State License (Active by start date; pending license acceptable at submission)

BLS (AHA)

Preferred Certifications :

ACLS (AHA)

CT or RVT Certification

Required Experience :

Minimum 1 year of experience in interventional radiology

First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience

Preferred Skills : Experience with :

Advanced interventional procedures (e.g., chemoembolization, radioembolization)

Use of PACS, Cerner charting (preferred)

Sterile field maintenance and vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose)

Patient Population : Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics

Work Setting : Interventional Radiology

Charting System : Cerner (preferred)

Special Equipment : Siemens, Ultrasound, CT, PACS
