This individual will play a pivotal role in developing innovative and effective solutions for our DoD customers within the IC sector.

Role Overview :

The Configuration Specialist will support the implementation and optimization of a Section 508 Web Conformance Software as a Service (SaaS) tool for the Department of Commerce. This role requires strong technical acumen in SaaS configuration, web accessibility, and federal IT standards, with a focus on collaboration and solution delivery.

Primary Duties :

• Configure and customize the SaaS tool, including user setup, workflow automation, data structures, and reporting dashboards.
• Analyze Department of Commerce requirements and identify capability gaps within the SaaS tool; document and communicate technical needs to product / engineering teams.
• Leverage scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript / Node.js, Python) for advanced tool customization.
• Configure Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions (e.g., SAML, OAuth) as needed.
• Apply basic SQL knowledge and understanding of database concepts to support tool integration and data management.
• Ensure full compliance with Section 508 standards, WCAG guidelines, and federal accessibility regulations.
• Conduct accessibility audits and assessments using the SaaS tool.
• Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on accessibility best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure successful tool implementation.
• Support tool evaluation efforts and provide technical training to end-users.
