Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client, a stable and growing manufacturing company located in Bartlett is adding an experienced Robot Programmer Tube Welder and Fabricator to their team. Shift hours : 2nd shift – 3 : 30 PM – 12 AM or 3 : 30 PM – 2 AM if OT is assigned.Must be able to work Saturdays if OT is assigned. Must be able to train on 1st shift 5 AM – 1 : 30 PM

Pay rate : $20.00 / hr plus $1.00 / hr shift premium

Prerequisites : Entry test required : reading blueprints / arithmetic / fractions to decimals & decimals to fractions conversionBasic understanding of weldingSetup skills / mechanically inclined individualKnowledge of using calipers & gagesKnowledge of using a microscope is a plusGood English : Must be able to read technical English, speak, and understand English wellSafety-oriented / Quality-oriented / Punctual and reliable, good attendance / Good Attitude

Job DescriptionPerform duties to set-up and operate equipment to weld tubing.Work from prints, work orders and instructions : 1.Sets up, adjusts and operates tube mills / welders to form tubing by the use of resistance, inert arc or gas welding processes.2.Loads strip and guides through “lead-in” or profile rolls to form tube in preparation of welding process.3.Adjusts welding equipment to achieve proper weld.4.Cuts tubing to length and places in temporary storage racks.5.Must perform “burst” test to check weld.6.Change out weld rolls and blades.7.Must perform weld section mounts and other quality checks.Follow safety rules and keep work area in clean and orderly condition.

Performs other related duties as assigned.#ZR
