Position Overview :

PACHS is seeking a compassionate Resident Care Assistant (CNA) to assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) under the direction of the charge nurse. This role involves providing quality care for geriatric residents and ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist with ADLs such as bathing, feeding, dressing, and toileting.

Escort residents to rooms, dining areas, and activities.

Take and record vital signs and other care-related data.

Report changes in patient condition to the charge nurse.

Maintain resident care records and support rehabilitative care goals.

Answer call lights and assist with meal prep and feeding.

Participate in ongoing training and education.

Position Requirements :

Ability to work flexible hours.

Basic computer skills.

Must have CNA certification and be active or eligible on the Iowa Nurse Aide Registry.

CPR certification required.

Compassionate communication and interpersonal skills.

Previous CNA experience preferred.
