Global Travel Collection Travel Specialist

Responsibilities
The individual in this role will provide best-in-class travel consulting services for corporate and entertainment clients, including high-profile travelers and touring professionals. This role supports an established independent advisor who has a high-volume, fast-paced business and will be working closely with Artist management teams.
The Specialist will be responsible for supporting core functions including tour pitching, hotel contracting, advancing, building spreadsheets, data entry, and commission tracking. Successful candidates must have expertise in Sabre, offer exceptional client service, and have the ability to manage complex, high-touch itineraries.
Work schedule :
- Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 8 : 45 PM EST and 12AM to 8 : 45 AM EST
- For initial training purposes, the daily work schedule will be 12 PM to 8 : 45 PM EST for both IC Assistants.
Responsibilities :
Email, download, and compile hotel information, proposals, offers, Tour spreadsheets, and client records.Prepare commission reports, memos, rooming lists, contracts, riders, spreadsheets and other documents as needed.Book and manage domestic and international air, hotel, car rental, and ground transportation using Sabre GDSIssue, exchange, void, and refund tickets and MCOs as neededCreate accurate invoices using Sabre and Agent Portal systemsProvide travel consulting services through phone, email, and chat with professionalism and attention to detailBuild strong relationships and act as a trusted travel advisor for both new and long-term clientsResearch destinations, fares, routing, hotels, and logistical details to meet specific client goalsPromote preferred vendors, insurance offerings, and value-added servicesIndependently review client reservations for accuracy and quality, proactively correct errorsTroubleshoot issues, research, and propose solutions to any travel-related problem clients may experience and working collaboratively with team and clients.Maintain and update client profiles and preferences in CRM databaseManage deposits, final payments, and required travel documentsStay up to date on global travel advisories, industry trends, and destination updatesSupport GTC's preferred supplier and amenity programsQualifications
Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum 5 years of travel experience with a focus on corporate and entertainment clientsSabre GDS proficiency (Edifact Preferred with knowledge of Graphical and NDC formats); ticketing, exchanges, and pricing expertise requiredSolid understanding of domestic and international routing, faring, and travel regulationsStrong understanding in how to read airline contracts for discounts and commissionsStrong verbal and written communication skills with high attention to detailMust be organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage competing prioritiesProficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and basic CRM toolsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work independentlyProven ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines.Meetings and Events experience is a plus.Pay and benefits include medical insurance, meal tickets, transportation allowance, paid time off, access to LinkedIn Learning webinars and courses.
