About The Position

We are seeking a Pediatric Oncology Nurse Practitioner for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Georgia, starting on Jan 5, 2026. This pivotal role involves day shifts from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM, with potential variations in weekly scheduling. The candidate will manage care within a pediatric setting, focusing on bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients, supported by state-of-the-art EMR systems like Epic.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide specialized care for pediatric oncology patients, with a focus on BMT

Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans

Administer treatments and monitor patient progress

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care

Utilize the Epic EMR system for thorough documentation and patient management

Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines

Additional Information

Must have Pediatric BMT experience

Required board certifications : Pediatric Hospital Medicine

Licenses Needed : Valid Georgia nurse practitioner license

Other Required Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
