Use your lived experience to make a difference for other families. As a Family Support Provider, you’ll walk alongside parents and caregivers of children with serious emotional or behavioral disorders—offering understanding, advocacy, and practical support based on what you’ve lived and learned.

Key Responsibilities
Coaching and supporting families to better understand and meet their child’s needsHelping parents build strong, collaborative relationships with service providers and care teamsConnecting families with community resources, support groups, and educational materialsProviding encouragement and emotional support during crises and challenging timesAssisting with meeting preparation and participation as requested by the familyCollaborating with the treatment team to create individualized, family-centered service plansSubmitting timely documentation, including progress notes completed collaboratively within 24 hoursTraveling to meet families and attend team meetings as needed - Driving is an essential function of this positionRequirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High School / GED required
WORK EXPERIENCE / TRAINING / ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be a family member with a child who has been or currently has a behavioral or emotional disorderMust complete and pass the FSP Relias training and DBH FSP training, and obtain a Family Support Provider certification within 6 months of hire dateA valid driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage requiredYou’ll Be A Great Fit for This Role if You :
