Description THIS IS NOT A "STRAIGHT" CST NEED. THIS IS A CSTFA NEED ONLY. NBSTSA FIRST ASSIST CERTIFICATION REQUIRED FOR THIS NEED. The Surgery Department specializes in the surgical treatment of a broad spectrum of clinical conditions. Having highly skilled surgeons with special interests allows us to offer a wide variety of endocrine, breast and oncologic surgical procedures, as well as gastrointestinal and colon and rectal (both open and laparoscopic), and hepatobiliary procedures. Traveler must have : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively. Surgical Assistant : Positioning the patient Providing visualization of the operative site Utilizing appropriate techniques to assist with hemostasis Participating in volume replacement or autotransfusion techniques as appropriate Using appropriate techniques to assist with closure of body planes Selecting and applying appropriate wound dressings, including the following : Providing assistance in securing drainage systems to tissue After orientation and successful post test, operation of laser when assigned Requirements On Call REQUIRED - non-negotiable 2 yeasr CURRENT CST FIRST ASSIST experience - Required Previous travel experience - Preferred NBSTSA FIRST ASSIST Required (NCCT or any other cert will not be accepted) Temp NH Med Tech license required Traveler must have their own vehicle for this need Certification Requirements BLS Certification Requirements NBSTSA Certification Requirements NH Additional License Requirements Certifications MUST be in hand at upload Meta Sense Job ID 25-17808.
