Hospitalist Physician

Amarillo, Texas, Nocturnist Hospitalist Opportunity Clinical Role :

Become part of a cohesive and well-established team of 10 MDs, two swing APPs, and a clinical performance nurse

Work alongside a unique blend of clinicians with diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds

Qualifications :

Board certified / eligible in Internal or Family medicine.

We can consider Family Medicine with 2 plus years of hospitalist experience

Active medical license or eligible to become licensed in Texas

New Grads are welcome to apply - now taking 2026 grads

Nocturnist ONLY position; hours are 7 pm - 7 AM, 7 on / off.

Procedures not required, they are preferred. 6-7 admits per night is average with some nights hitting 10-12.

Must cover Open ICU

Provide comprehensive medical care and post-operative care.

Support the code team and provide basic life support, advanced cardiovascular life support, pediatric advanced life support, and advanced trauma life support where needed.

Procedures are preferred but not required; training is available. This is not a deal breaker.
