The Opportunity Our client is seeking a results-driven
Vice President of Sales to lead their sales strategy across both direct and channel partner models. This is a pivotal leadership role with the mandate to grow top-line revenue, build strategic relationships, and lead a high-performing sales team in a hands-on capacity.
Key Responsibilities - Direct Sales Leadership: Personally manage and close high-value accounts in industrial sectors by selling ruggedized computers and plant-floor computing solutions.
- Channel Development: Expand and nurture partnerships with Distributors, Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs), and Rep Firms to increase market penetration.
- Team Management: Hire, coach, and lead a sales team focused on both direct sales and channel success; foster a high-performance culture.
- CRM Excellence: Leverage HubSpot CRM to manage pipelines, analyze performance data, and ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute pricing strategies, sales forecasts, and go-to-market initiatives aligned with company goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, operations, and marketing to translate customer needs into actionable business improvements.
- Effective Communication: Create persuasive proposals, reports, and internal communications that drive alignment and clarity.
Qualifications - Proven success selling industrial automation or ruggedized computing solutions into plant-floor environments.
- Experience managing or working closely with Distributors, ISOs, and Rep Firms.
- Demonstrated leadership in building and scaling sales teams.
- Strong working knowledge of HubSpot or a similar CRM platform.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- Highly organized and self-motivated with a track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience welcomed.
