    As we continue to scale, were seeking a General Manager to take full ownership of daily operations, drive sales, lead the team, and implement systems that support long-term growth and profitability.

    Position Overview

    The General Manager (GM) is responsible for running and growing the business overseeing operations, sales, and team performance while ensuring client satisfaction and financial success. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on field management and business development.

    The GM will act as the central leader across landscape maintenance, installation, and enhancement divisions , ensuring every project meets Procares high standards of quality and service.

    Key Responsibilities

    Leadership & Management

    • Oversee day-to-day operations across landscape maintenance, design / build, drainage, and lighting divisions .
    • Lead, mentor, and manage crew leaders, foremen, and support staff.
    • Create accountability systems for job performance, quality control, and safety compliance.
    • Conduct weekly production meetings and align teams with company goals and priorities.
    • Sales & Business Development

    • Drive company growth through new sales, upselling existing clients, and expanding service lines.
    • Meet with residential and commercial clients to provide estimates and close contracts.
    • Develop and execute sales strategies for both maintenance and installation divisions.
    • Maintain CRM and sales tracking systems for quoting, follow-ups, and pipeline management.
    • Operations & Project Management

    • Schedule and coordinate maintenance routes, enhancement projects, and installations.
    • Manage equipment, materials, and vendor relationships for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
    • Monitor production rates, job costs, and labor performance to maintain profitability.
    • Ensure timely completion and high-quality results for all maintenance and installation jobs.
    • Financial & Strategic Oversight

    • Work with ownership to manage budgets, P&L performance, and cash flow.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
    • Help build long-term systems for scalability including staffing, SOPs, and reporting.
    • Customer Experience

    • Maintain strong communication with clients throughout every project and service cycle.
    • Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally.
    • Build long-term client relationships that result in renewals, referrals, and 5-star reviews.
    • Qualifications

    • 5+ years of management experience in landscaping, property maintenance, or construction.
    • Proven success in operations and sales leadership.
    • Knowledge of both landscape maintenance and installation operations .
    • Strong understanding of estimating, scheduling, and project management.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
    • Tech-savvy with experience using CRM or job management systems (e.g., Jobber, LMN, Aspire).
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with a drive to grow revenue and build efficient systems.
    • Valid drivers license and ability to work in the office and field as needed.
