Certified Pharmacy Technician

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Technician, Specialty MST / PST.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for members and providers regarding specialty pharmacy benefits, prior authorization requests, and navigation support

Support members in specialty management programs by coordinating prior authorizations, prescription fulfillment, and follow-up for satisfaction

Assist Specialty Clinical Pharmacists with patient and provider outreach, appointment scheduling, and administrative tasks

Required Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

1-2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a specialty pharmacy or similar managed care setting

Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification

Knowledge of pharmacy claims adjudication and benefit designs

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
