American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for night shifts, requiring experience with ER, Level 1 Trauma, and NICU / Neonates.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Position is in a hospital radiology department working primarily with general X-ray imagingNight shifts consist of three 10-hour shifts, Friday through Sunday (22 : 00-08 : 30 and 19 : 30-06 : 00 as scheduled)Holiday coverage and local call support are requiredPatient population includes ER, Level 1 Trauma, and NICU / neonates, with pediatric exams and trauma reductionsProcedures include general X-ray exams, reductions, portable X-rays, and pediatric imagingEquipment includes Shimadzu Rad-Speed, Shimadzu Mobile Art MX8, AGFA DXD 100, and Orthoscan mini-C-armResponsibilities include all general ED X-ray procedures, trauma reductions, pediatric and portable X-raysScrub color is navyTesting includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with a required passing scoreHoliday coverage is mandatory and call is required if living locallyPermanent staff may not return to the assignment facility for 1 year from previous end datePBDS assessment is waived for this assignmentRTO must be discussed during the interviewAssignments at the facility are limited to 18 consecutive months, with a 6-month break required before a new assignment\n \n Requirements\n
Active ARRT certification requiredActive Ohio State License is required and must be a permanent license in hand at time of consideration; compact licenses accepted for specific start dates (license required if applicable)Current AHA BLS certification is requiredMinimum of 18 months permanent experience in X-ray specialty is required prior to consideration for travelExperience with ER, Level 1 Trauma, and NICU / neonate populations is mandatoryTwo recent supervisory references in X-ray specialty are required, including one from the past 12 months and one from the most recent travel assignment if applicableAll candidates must be nicotine free and able to pass a negative 10-panel and cotinine drug screen within the past 12 months\n Benefits\n
