Are you a dedicated Surgical Technologist looking to make a significant impact in the operating room? Join us at Advocate Health, where we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients. We are currently seeking a Surgical Technologist I for our General Specialty PM shifts. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a renowned healthcare provider.

Location : Aurora St Lukes Medical Center - 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

Pay Range : $26.10 - $39.15

Your Role :

Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient operating room environment.

Utilize aseptic techniques in preparing for surgical procedures.

Assist with patient positioning and transporting while ensuring their safety and comfort.

Act as a Second Assistant as needed and anticipate the Surgeon's needs during procedures.

Ensure communication with the surgical team regarding equipment and supply readiness.

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 6 months of hire.

The position does not require prior experience, making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, with manual dexterity for surgical tasks.

Must be capable of pushing / pulling with a force of 30 lbs.

Exposure to various hazards (mechanical, chemical, etc.) is expected, along with wearing protective gear.
