Minimum and Additional Requirements
Master’s degree in English or a related field with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in English required.
Preferred Qualifications
Degrees in English, Composition and Rhetoric, Professional/Technical Writing, or Linguistics preferred. Demonstrated interest and expertise in teaching college English courses, including both composition and literature, to diverse student populations highly preferred. Recent experience teaching or tutoring highly preferred. Knowledge of current best practice in teaching writing preferred. Applicants must submit a resume curriculum vitae and a brief cover letter outlining your qualifications for the position. Official graduate transcripts are required if hired; unofficial transcripts are requested at the time of interview.
