Our client, a leader in the aviation space, is seeking a Senior UX Designer to join their team on an ongoing contract basis in Downtown Chicago. In this role, you will support high-impact .com and app initiatives, including future-state iOS concepts and core shopping / product experiences. This is a hybrid role with 12 days per week onsite and offers health benefits.
Job Description
The Senior UX Designer will help lead the design and definition of digital experiences as a key contributor to the Core UX team, which integrates human-centered practices across all stages of the travel journey. This team drives digital product strategy and partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to elevate experience quality across web, app, and multi-channel platforms.

You Will
PLAN & CONCEPT
- Visualize ideas using professional design tools, whiteboarding, sketching, and collaborative ideation methods.
- Initiate and respond to opportunities for innovation based on research, analysis, and competitive insights.
- Identify user needs and business requirements to frame problem spaces.
- Substantiate design approaches with analysis and projections for improvement.
DESIGN & REFINE
Ensure digital customer touchpoints remain consistent with the clients UX and brand standards.Develop intuitive, engaging interactions and micro-interactions across web and app experiences.Drive the design of next-generation navigation patterns, components, and templates across digital products.Create low- and high-fidelity prototypes supporting a rapid, iterative design process.Collaborate with UX research to define test plans and iterate based on user insights.DEFINE & COMMUNICATE
Produce final design deliverables including process flows, wireframes, storyboards, hi-fi mockups, redlines, and prototypes.Present design work to UX leadership, product teams, and executives for feedback and alignment.Collaborate cross-functionally throughout the design process and synthesize stakeholder input effectively.Support implementation by answering developer and PM questions and partnering with QA to validate design fidelity.Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers as needed.You Have
