Imagination ABA Therapy is a BCBA-owned and operated ABA therapy agency providing home-based and community-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and developmental needs across New Jersey.

We are currently hiring Behavior Technicians (BTs) in Elizabeth, NJ and surrounding areas. Many of the families we serve are bilingual, so Spanish-speaking candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

Whether you’re new to the field or an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), we provide hands-on training, supportive BCBA supervision, and flexible scheduling so you can grow and make a real difference.

Compensation

Behavior Technician (non-RBT) : $22–$25 / hour

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) : $24–$28 / hour

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1 : 1 ABA therapy sessions in homes or community settings

Follow individualized treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA

Collect and record accurate data on client progress

Implement behavior reduction and skill-building programs

Maintain a positive, engaging, and safe environment during sessions

Communicate effectively with families and supervisors in English and / or Spanish

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED (some college preferred)

Experience working with children, autism, or ABA therapy preferred

Spanish bilingual ability strongly preferred

RBT certification a plus (training provided if not certified)

Reliable transportation to local client homes

Must pass state and federal background checks

Compassionate, dependable, and eager to make an impact
