This is a float position and will travel to multiple counties to provide coverage - primarily in our northern area - Mocksville, Hickory, Statesville, etc.

Summary of Position

Under the physician's supervision, the physician assistant (PA) or nurse practitioner (NP) is responsible for delivering health care and patient care management. The PA / NP is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of medical services, including taking medical histories, conducting physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, administering treatments (e.g., suturing, casting, and minor surgery), monitoring patients, prescribing medications, assisting physicians, and counseling and educating patients.

Minimum

Required Skills

Education : Graduation from an accredited program. Current State of North Carolina PA or NP licensure / certification required. Current DEA certificate required. Board Certification if applicable.
