Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an IR Technologist with at least 2 years of experience, active VA license, and BLS and ARRT or RCIS certification.

Responsibilities

  • Position is based in a hospital interventional radiology lab setting
  • Work schedule consists of 10-hour day shifts from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM
  • Includes on-call rotation 1-2 shifts per week and one weekend of call per month
  • Call response time requirement is 1 hour
  • All cases are completed in the IR lab
  • Patient charting is performed using Epic EMR
  • Scrubs are provided in maroon
  • Unit orientation provided for 1 week
  • Holiday coverage requires working one major and one minor holiday as needed
  • On-call coverage is shared and rotates with core staff
  • Work is performed exclusively in the IR lab
  • First-time travelers are considered
  • Expect a supportive team structure with rotating call duties

    • Requirements

  • Active VA state license required if applicable
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Current ARRT (with VA License) or RCIS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years interventional radiology experience required
  • Vascular Interventional Registry preferred
  • Critical care experience required
