Account Manager, Dairy Ingredients & Cheese, West Coast Territory

Job Description

It’s an exciting time to be part of the IFF Health & Biosciences Platform. As Account Manager, Cultures & Dairy Enzymes for our West Coast territory, you will be responsible for managing Dairy customers as part of the Health & Biosciences Platform of IFF. In this remote role, you will be traveling 60% of the time within west coast territory, executing our business strategy, providing a high level of service to customers, and owning the sales revenue and gross profit of the region.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Sell product portfolio to new and existing accounts in the cheese industry
• Achieve sales revenue and gross profit targets for the Cultures/Dairy Enzymes business unit
• Develop short- and long-term strategy to achieve sales growth
• Build project pipeline to sustain growth targets
• Manage and build relationships with existing customers
• Work closely with demand planning, providing monthly forecast guidance
• Update opportunities in SalesForce as they progress

Long Description

Job Qualifications:

• 5-7 years ingredient knowledge, preferably in the Cheese Industry
• Demonstrated success in Dairy sales
• Industry/customer knowledge
• Ability to coordinate across functional teams
• Business acumen
• Sales and/or technical service in the Dairy Industry
• Ability to travel domestically 60% of the time.
• Food or Dairy Science degree.
