Position Summary
As a Registered Nurse in our Detox Unit, you will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, adhering to applicable standards of practice. You will report to the Director or Manager of the Department.
Essential Functions
Patient Populations Served : Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
Exposure : Regular occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens and hazardous materials.
Physical Requirements : Frequent standing, walking, lifting / moving patients, and repetitive hand / arm movements.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education : Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
License / Certifications : Current RN license in the state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.
