Job Summary : Responsible for promoting customer satisfaction through adherence to quality assurance standards, continuous improvement and training. Lead internal audits to ensure conformance to ISO standards.
Essential Functions :
Perform internal audits to ensure ISO process maps are up to date and are being followed
Assist in developing and implementing audit scheduleAssist in managing team of internal auditorsProvide assistance to Team Leader during annual ISO audit as neededMaintain audit reports and QA documents in accordance with ISO standardsContinuous ImprovementInspect data looking for areas for improvement and make recommendations
Identify and work with the appropriate people to resolve workflow and production issuesDocument resulting work instructions / standard operating procedures and process mapsTrainingDevelop training materials
Perform training as neededQuality AssuranceOutline quality assurance policies and procedures
Interpret and comply with quality assurance standardsAssist in managing RMA process by leading root cause analysis and corrective responseEnsure RMAs are processed timely and SOPs are being followedMaintain QA systems and equipment calibration (e.g., vision systems, leak detectors, lab equipment, etc.)Plan, perform and oversee inspection and testing of products to ensure quality deliverables as neededPerform incoming raw material inspection and receiving auditAdditional Functions :
Be an advisor to internal and external sources as required on matters pertaining to quality assurance.Knowledge and Skill Requirements :
High school diploma / GED required. Secondary degree preferredCertificate in quality assurance is a plus5 years of previous experience in quality assurance or a similar fieldWorking knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assuranceGood communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong attention to detailsExcellent data collection and analysis skillsCustomer focusedWorking Conditions :
