Job Title : Design Engineer

Location : Greenville, SC | Full-Time | Direct Hire

Compensation : $90,000$125,000 + 10% Bonus | Relocation Provided

Overview :

We're hiring a Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and validation of Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) fuel injector product lines. The ideal candidate has hands-on injector design experience, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with automotive design validation and manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead GDI injector design projects from concept through PPAP readiness

Develop and correlate spray and flow test methods (Baton, Loccioni, OEM correlation)

Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications

Coordinate with manufacturing for design optimization and launch readiness

Conduct design validation (DV) testing and problem-solving using root cause analysis

Qualifications :

Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field

5+ years in fuel injector design (2+ in GDI)

Proficiency with CAD (Creo preferred) and tolerance analysis

Experience with DFMEA, APQP, and PPAP

Strong communication and organizational skills
