Job description

Position Title : Cybersecurity Intern

Location : Austin, TX

Clearance Requirements : Nil

Position Status : Contract

Pay Rate : $25 / hr

Position Description :

Education :

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field, with at least 3 years of academic progression completed.

Required Experience

  • 2 years of experience with scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
  • 2 years of experience demonstrating excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • 2 years of experience demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 2 years of experience working effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • 2 years of experience following organizational standard operating procedures related to approvals and reviews.

Preferred Experience :

  • 1 year of experience with or a strong interest in data security, incident response, and threat intelligence.
  • 1 year of familiarity with Crowdstrike or other cybersecurity tools.
  • 1 year of experience being self-motivated and eager to learn new technologies and methodologies.
  • 1 year of basic understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and core security concepts.
