Analyst, Transportation Logistics
Accountabilities :
- Continuously explore ways and identify opportunities to reduce freight costs
- Continuously plan, analyze, and optimize transportation network
- Build, plan, and route loads in TMS
- Manage appointment scheduling requirements relative to delivery plan to optimize highest levels of service at lowest landed cost
- Track execution of loads against relevant milestones to identify delays, risks in transit and keep relevant stakeholders informed with updates
- Proactively interact with carriers to ensure unimpeded transportation process to minimize delays of deliverables (i.e., actual arrival and departure times, PODs, etc.)
- Act as liaison between Customer Supply Chain, Fulfillment, and carriers
