SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

  • Provide support and assistance to teachers by helping students with challenges outlined in their IEP assessment : ages 3-21 years old
  • Maintain as fully as possible the established routines and procedures of the school and classroom where assigned.
  • Meet and instruct assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated.
  • Effectively maintain a classroom environment conductive to effective learning.
  • Use positive verbal and non-verbal skills that enhance learning.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information concerning students, staff, or parent / guardian in any public setting.
  • Assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulations, and School Board policies.

  • Committed to working with a diverse student population
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with students
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma / GED
  • Experience working with students
  • Great team player with solid time management skills or ability
