Job description

Advantage Tech is looking for a Test Automation Engineer for our Kansas City, MO client. We are looking for an individual to help improve speed to market and the quality of our releases by increasing our level of automated testing. You will support all test automation efforts by automating and adding tests to existing projects and frameworks.

Responsibilities :

  • Write, design, execute and maintain automated tests
  • Communicates automation progress both in the build out of the suites and quality of test runs
  • Collaborates with test automation team, devs, and testers to analyze requirements and identify test automation candidates
  • Stays current on new testing tools and capabilities in the market and analyzes their effectiveness in our process to suggest implementation
  • Acquiring additional test automation knowledge and skills

Skills :

  • Strong QA skills including Requirement analysis, defect tracking and troubleshooting issues
  • An understanding of test automation concepts, testing techniques and test levels
  • Familiarity with basic concepts of programming and OOP languages such as C#
  • Experience working with Selenium WebDriver or similar automated testing tools
  • Ability to add automated tests to an existing test automation framework
  • Very strong analytical, critical thinking, time management, and task management skills.
