An Energy Marshal plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and compliant handling of energy systems during construction and commissioning, especially in complex environments like data centers. Responsibilities include overseeing and enforcing electrical safety protocols, including Lockout / Tagout (LOTO) procedures. They ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations such as NFPA 70E and OSHA. They review documentation, conduct audits, and provide expert guidance on energy isolation procedures. They coordinate energization and de-energization activities with various stakeholders. They participate in high-risk activity planning meetings related to energy isolation and maintain and update relevant documentation such as single-line drawings.

Essential Skills include expertise in NFPA 70E and electrical safety management. They must have 10+ years of electrical contracting experience. Additional skills and qualifications include a strong understanding of electrical construction and a quality-minded approach to tasks.

The role is based in data center construction environments, which require adherence to stringent safety protocols and standards. This is a contract to hire position based out of Moncks Corner, SC. The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
