Position Title : Senior Quality Technician
Position Summary :

The Senior Quality Technician performs administrative, hands-on, and technical duties in the Quality Department in support of production and quality operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all goods and services meet customer requirements for quality, quantity, and timeliness.
You’ll have the opportunity to work across multiple quality functions — from maintaining production records and certifications to managing calibration, training, and inspection activities — all while contributing to a culture that values teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Follow the company’s Quality System, including all applicable SOPs listed in the Training Matrix
- Support completion of Lot History Records (LHRs), including creating Certificates of Compliance or other lot documentation, performing Quality review and approval, and managing scanning and filing
- Release materials from Quarantine when appropriate, including materials returning from outsourced suppliers
- Audit product labels and confirm destruction according to label control procedures
- Enter scrap and yield data from LHRs and maintain accurate production scrap and yield logs
- Perform data entry, including but not limited to statistical process control (SPC) data
- Support and maintain the Approved Supplier List with direction from Quality Engineering
- Review, approve, scan, and file incoming inspection records
- Scan and file employee training records
- Manage company training through eLeap and ensure training documentation accuracy
- Perform, review, approve, and file First Article Inspections (FAI) and Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) reports
- Manage ERP system transactions as assigned
- Communicate promptly with supervisors or Engineering regarding issues or non-conformances
- Maintain defect awareness and understand how actions impact product quality
- Foster positive working relationships with peers and co-workers
- Perform additional duties as requested, including :
o In-process and final inspections
o Incoming inspections
o Line clearance audits
o Lot release testing
Work overtime as requiredQualifications :
Strong computer skills and familiarity with digital documentation systemsProficient in the use of metrology tools such as calipers, micrometers, inspection microscopes, and related measurement instrumentationEducation :
Vocational – High School Diploma or equivalent experienceExperience :
2–5 years of quality or inspection experience (medical device experience preferred)1–3 years of administrative experienceDemonstrated computer proficiency requiredSkills, Knowledge, and Abilities :
Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate work efficiently and stay on taskProficient in the use of metrology measurement systems such as calipers and micrometersExceptional attention to detail and accuracyAbility to multitask and handle both administrative and technical assignmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishProficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Adobe programs (PDFs)Skilled in data entry, record keeping, and documentation managementSound judgment and ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with company policyCommitment to continuous learning and training — able to be trained on and retain knowledge needed to perform QA tasks effectivelyWhy Join Us?
