Overview

A freestanding ER in Longview, TX is seeking a Licensed Vocational Nurse to join their team. The Licensed Vocational Nurse at Hospitality Health ER cares for all patients including neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics. The Licensed Vocational Nurse will strive to provide proficient, competent care while maintaining the patient's sense of comfort and dignity.

Responsibilities for the Licensed Vocational Nurse

• Conducting patient call backs to ensure patient care satisfaction and address any follow up questions or concerns that a patient may have after leaving care under Hospitality Health ER.
• Addressing patient billing questions and / or concerns.
• Tracking any patient complaints.
• Following through with all outstanding call backs and patient messages.
• Answering nurse calls and providing knowledgeable follow-up in a professional and caring manner.
• Meeting the requirements of applicable federal, state, and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.
• Upholding accountability to the Compliance Director, Staff Registered Nurse, Patient Care Manager, and Director of Nurses.
• Contributing to extra duty assignment of Custodian of Records that may include, but not limited to, maintaining, and tracking charts and maintaining employee files.
• Completing daily responsibilities upon arrival and prior to departure of shift.
