Central College seeks applications for an assistant professor or nontenure-line lecturer in the Education Department beginning August 2026.
The successful applicant should hold a Ph.D. or Ed.D. in Education (ABD considered) for the assistant professor appointment, or a master's in education for the lecturer position. Our new colleague will join a dynamic and collaborative team of faculty committed to excellence in undergraduate education.

Requirements :
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a combination of courses in the area of elementary education, elementary literacy and college-wide liberal arts courses. In addition, the candidate will supervise field experiences in PK-8 education. Faculty at Central College also advise and mentor students, assess programs, supervise internships, and engage in scholarship and service that contributes to the institution and the profession.
