By delegation of the TSE / TPM, specify one or several train functions, and associated sub-system(s) at train level and lead technically the engineering studies to reach the required performances at train level.
List of typical Functions at train level :
- Provide traction and energy for auxiliaries
- Integrate the train in the system
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Technical missions :
Performing the transverse requirement allocations to the various subsystems in close collaboration with the relevant specialists,Performing requirement development, coming from reference and applicable documents from Metiers, Standards, Certification, Safety, Platform and CustomerDefining the Train System architecture, operational modes and functionalities taking as input the external / internal requirementsPerforming train system FMECA in coordination with RAMS teamEnsuring consistency and compatibility between all the sub-systems specifications,Writing sub-system specification and architecture description in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders according to train level architecture.Writes the Technical Purchasing Specification when needed.Manages technical contact until design has been frozenDrives technical relationships with suppliers with close management of QCD commitments, risks & validation (including Design Reviews with suppliers).Ensuring coordination between stakeholders on interfaces, performances, technical issues resolution during detailed design phase.On TSE / TPM request, participating to technical meetings with customer in order to provide support.Manage / lead component deliveries and development with external / internal suppliersV&V activities :
Defining and performing Train verification strategy in close collaboration with all stakeholdersWriting the train level test specificationsEnsuring the train integration and tuning.During train revenue service :
Technical open issues resolution on TSE request, from investigation to modification implementation and problem closure,QCD and reporting :
Performing reporting at project level (to TSE, via KPI) and metier level (via weekly reports)Supporting TSE for implementation and update of Engineering risks mitigation plan, change order process and QCD optimisationProviding Return of experience to be implemented in Reference SolutionsREQUIRED PROFILE
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, or other relevant diplomaMinimum 5 years of engineering experience in the railway fieldVery good knowledge of requirements management and change management, mandatoryGood knowledge in systems engineeringKnowledge of DOORS software, an assetSome travel is to be expected on an occasional basis to other Alstom sites or to customersWe thank all applicants for their interest; however, only those under consideration will be contacted.
