Superintendent - Downtown Chicago

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and coordinate all phases of our construction projects. My client is one of the most reputable, well-established GC / Developers across the Chicagoland area. They specialize in tenant interiors projects, completing roughly $150M in annual revenue. Due to their strong project backlog, they are looking to add a Superintendent to their team to assist with continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations on construction sites; oversee subcontractors, trades, and laborers
• Develop and maintain project timelines; coordinate deliveries, work phases, and inspections to avoid delays
• Ensure work is performed according to project specifications, drawings, and building codes
• Serve as the primary point of contact between project managers, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients
• Maintain daily logs, track progress, report delays or issues to project managers, and assist with cost control
• Identify and address issues that could impact the project’s timeline, quality, or budget
• Enforce company and OSHA safety protocols; conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections
