About The Position

Job Title : Perioperative RN

Excellent knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques

Solid understanding of patient safety and precautions

Great team player with excellent communication skills including oral, written, and listening

Ability to respond effectively in stressful situations with changing circumstances

Description :

Join our surgical team as a Perioperative RN.

You will play an essential role in providing care to patients before, during, and after operations and procedures.

We seek an individual who is efficient with a high level of attention to detail and is passionate about patient safety.

The ideal candidate must possess a comprehensive range of general nursing skills and be ready to adapt and learn new skills without hesitation.

The rural location of this facility requires you to respond quickly and accurately in a wide variety of situations.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for those looking to expand their nursing skills.

You will be required to take on average 7-9 days of call per month with a 20-minute response time to the hospital.

You will also be expected to handle rotating on-call responsibilities, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Knowledge of surgical operation procedures is a bonus.

Prior experience in pre-op and / or PACU is preferred.

You should be skilled in Pre-op, PACU, and Circulating all General, Ortho, and OB cases.

You will need to be available to help with trauma cases in the emergency room.

Skills should allow you to feel confident in caring for surgical patients overnight as the only operating room nurse during emergency call cases.
