POSITION SUMMARY
The Service Center Team Leader is responsible for guiding and supporting employees in daily operations while directly managing RTV processing and shipping activities. This role combines hands-on operational responsibilities with leadership, ensuring accurate inventory handling, timely RTV turnaround, and strong collaboration with vendors, carriers, and internal departments. The Team Leader promotes a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while helping the team achieve department goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Lead and support employees in daily Service Center operations.
- Assist team members in resolving conflicts constructively.
- Communicate effectively with Service Center management regarding RTV escalations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and internal departments through professional written and verbal communication
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of inventory arriving at and leaving the Service Center.
- Conduct inventory counts in the Service Center.
- Ensure proper packaging, adherence to security procedures, and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Ensure quick turnaround times for RTV processing and shipping.
- Follow up with vendors on submitted RTVs.
- Systematically create RTV invoices.
- Quote freight shipments and schedule pickups.
- Promote teamwork, safety, and compliance with company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure punctual attendance and flexibility in shift assignments.
- Assist with other tasks assigned by management in the DC

Strong knowledge of RTV (Return to Vendor) processing and shipping procedures.Ability to communicate professionally with vendors, carriers, and internal departments through written and verbal communication.Skilled in conflict resolution and team accountability.Commitment to teamwork, safety, and company policies.Flexibility to work varied shifts and adapt to changing priorities.Certification to operate heavy lifting machinery (preferred).SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education
High school diploma or equivalent.Experience
Previous experience in service center, warehouse, or logistics operations required.1–2 years of leadership or team lead experience preferred.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.Language Skills
Bilingual in English and Spanish.Computer Skills
Proficiency in basic computer applications and inventory management systems.Computer literate in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and Word.Ability to type.Certificates and Licenses
