About Our Client

Established in the early 1960s as a modest metal fabrication shop, our client has steadily expanded over the years. Now operating from a much larger, modern facility, they\'ve significantly enhanced their capabilities to better serve their customers and adapt to changing industry needs. Today, they produce a diverse range of products—includ­ing perforated metal, rail safety components, and other stamped metal parts—for an expanding customer base. They are currently looking to add a Quality Engineer to their team to support and elevate customer quality standards.

Job Description

Quality Control / Assurance

• Maintain and improve the quality management system, including documentation for procedures, audits, controls, corrective actions, and equipment calibration.
• Create and revise standard operating procedures to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
• Perform internal quality audits, record findings, and follow up on necessary corrective actions.
• Investigate internal quality issues and customer complaints through root cause analysis and recommend effective solutions.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to address quality concerns in manufacturing processes and customer feedback.
• Track and report quality metrics, corrective action statuses, and trends to management.
• Inspect incoming materials and finished components to verify compliance with blueprint specifications.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions.
• Work closely with external suppliers and internal purchasing teams to resolve material quality concerns and ensure vendor compliance with quality standards.
