In this critical position, you will be at the heart of our sourcing process, ensuring the optimal Quality, Cost, and Delivery for cutting-edge programs. You'll be the strategic link connecting product development with our global supply base, steering complex projects from concept to launch.
Responsibilities
What you'll do...
- This position is to help drive the sourcing process of next generation programs at best Quality, Cost, and Delivery.
- Manage work plan rollup of program Commodity Planning, Sourcing, Supplier Quotation, and Sourcing Contract Process.
- Align with cross-functional team (program, finance, cost estimating) on surrogate and control model selection
- Coordinate program assumption inputs from PD and achievement of sourcing work plans
- Compile and Update initial Sourcing Tracker / SWT (Sourcing WorkPlan Tool)
- Consolidate rollup of target setting status aligned with program requirements using commodity waterfalls
- Achieve cross functional alignment and deliver sourcing to meet Supplier Engineering on-Board Dates (SEOBD) coordinate SIR requirements as needed
- Ensure on-time completion of ESOW / CPL with PMTs to support sourcing
- Attend (w / PD Program Management) Sourcing PAT (Program Activity Team) and cascade status and help required to Supply CHain
- Coordinate input from Supply Chain Program Coordinators and VHM Supply Chain Teams with Finance to support program financial requirements
- Coordinate program localization requirements and program changes that could require significant capital investment
- Support Purchasing Strategy on pre- program planning
- Coordinate purchasing support required for program manufacturing cost studies, ILVS / sequencing studies, make vs buy studies
- Coordinate overall rollup of purchase order and tool order placement. Cascade and coordinate help needed with Supply Chain
- Represent purchasing in NML forums and coordinate help needed with Supply Chain
- Communicate program timing, status and requirements to Purchasing and Site STA. Establish and communicate Supply Chain resource deployment priorities to support program requirements
- Overall PoV owner for Supply Chain on program - prepare program status reports to support program status reviews
- Provide Supply Chain input into GPDS Integrator, corporate BPR and OESAR on program status at all milestones
- Establish and maintain strong cross-functional relationships through demonstrated One Ford behaviors

This position is hybrid. Candidates who are in commuting distance to a Ford hub location may be required to be onsite four or more days per week.
