LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing engineering services firm, and they are seeking a motivated Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering and design of complex healthcare and commercial projects from concept through construction.
  • Oversee the preparation of construction documents and ensure seamless coordination with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Conduct site visits during design and construction phases to review and optimize mechanical systems.
  • Foster strong, positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license, or a clear plan to obtain PE within the next 1-2 years.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in healthcare facility design.
  • Demonstrated expertise in medical gas system design.
  • A track record of successful project delivery in healthcare or similar regulated environments.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for design and documentation.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant codes and standards, including NFPA 170, NFPA 99, NFPA 101, International Energy Conservation Code, and International Building Code.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative, client-focused approach.
  • Compensation and Benefits

    Compensation Range : $100,000 - $150,000

    Benefits Offered : 2 weeks of vacation, paid sick leave where applicable by state law, Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 401K, and Life Insurance.
