Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist Job Details

Location : Beaumont, Texas (Southeast Texas healthcare jobs)

Assignment Dates : November 10, 2025 – February 9, 2026

Employment Type : Locum Tenens Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist

Practice Setting : Main hospital and outpatient surgical centers

Schedule : Day shifts (5x8-hour days, 07 : 00 – 15 : 00); scheduled call shifts (weeknights / weekends)

Shifts per Week : 5

Shift Duration : 8 hours

Hours per Week : 40

Team Structure : 8 Anesthesiologists, 25 CRNAs

Case Mix : Cardiothoracic, Orthopedic, General Surgery, GI, OB / GYN, Urology, ENT, Neuro, and more

EMR System : Epic

Qualifications for Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist Jobs

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology (cardiothoracic anesthesia experience preferred)

Active Texas medical license preferred (IMLC accepted)

BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of clinical anesthesia experience in a hospital or surgical center

Ability to complete credentialing within 45-60 days (clean file preferred)

Healthcare Responsibilities

Deliver anesthesia care for diverse surgical procedures, including cardiothoracic, orthopedic, general surgery, GI, OB / GYN, urology, ENT, and neuro cases

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of anesthesiologists and CRNAs

Participate in day shifts and scheduled call coverage (weeknight and weekend calls)

Utilize Epic EMR for clinical documentation and patient management

Ensure patient safety and provide compassionate, evidence-based anesthesia care
