Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 special education teaching opportunity is available for passionate educators with expertise in supporting diverse learners. This contract position runs from November 17, 2025, through June 3, 2026, offering a full-time role that focuses on delivering tailored instruction to students with various special education needs in an onsite setting.
Responsibilities include :
- Providing specialized instruction in elementary self-contained classrooms (K-2), as well as co-teaching in math and English language arts classrooms to support inclusion.
- Delivering resource support for high school students within a special education framework.
- Collaborating with general education teachers, families, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitoring student progress and adapting instructional strategies to meet individual needs.
- Maintaining compliance with state regulations and district policies related to special education.
Qualifications and desired experience :
Active South Carolina teaching license with a Multi-Categorical (Multi-Cat) endorsement at the elementary level; possible PreK endorsement is a plus.Experience working in self-contained and co-teaching environments within K-12 settings.Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment techniques.Ability to manage multiple classrooms and deliver instruction to students with varying levels of need.Location :
This role is based onsite in Fort Mill, SC, serving multiple school levels including elementary (McDonald Green Elementary), middle, and high schools.Benefits of the position :
